Anyone that stopped by the shop was greeted with excitement by Sam, our black lab. Sadly, Sam passed away on July 1, 2008. Seven months later we felt the quiet in the house and started talking about getting a new dog. Cris looked on the Animal Rescue League website one January afternoon and saw an entire litter of puppies. That evening we went down to the Rescue League and a few hours later had an 8 week old puppy. Bob found the perfect name for him - Vino.

With our love of wine this seemed like the perfect name for our newest family member. Vino is a black lab/Sheppard mix - or so we think - we are pretty sure he’s going to be a big dog. Bob even has a pool going on at the shop to guess his weight in a year! Vino has fun at home playing with his many toys and chasing the cat, Cali, around the house and has quickly adjusted to shop life.
